Using the widely acclaimed PRESENT virtual conference platform, members of the AAPSM will present a program of their best, most practical lectures containing wisdom and pearls that you can employ for your patient athletes in your practice on Monday morning. Complete an attendance verification in the AM and PM Saturday and Sunday and a CME survey Monday at 5PM EST to earn 14 CME Credits.
- Understand the benefits of strengthening intrinsic foot muscles as it relates to preventative and conservative foot health.
- Understand the health implications of footwear and the importance of comfort.
- Understand emerging technologies and how they will change methods of foot orthotic and footwear manufacturing.
- Develop proficiency with common taping configurations.
- Develop a biomechanical (vs methodological) taping skill set.
- Understand which Achilles tendon repair has less complications.
- Learn the different diagnoses that can cause heel pain and how to make the proper diagnosis.
- Learn common lower extremity injuries that commonly occur in dancers.
