The Diabetic Foot: Prevention is Paramount

In this lecture, Robert Frykberg, DPM, MPH, MAPWCA, FRSM, FFPM(Glasg), will discuss the epidemiology of the Diabetic Foot Syndrome, risk factors, and proven techniques for prevention available to the current practitioner. Dr Frykberg will show that by utilizing knowledge of causal pathways, effective prevention protocols can be implemented to reduce the incidence of diabetes-related lower extremity amputations.
