This Webinar will explore the genesis of early management of diabetic foot ulcers with intact fish skin graft up to and including the most complex diabetic foot wound trial completed to date. The original case series, and prospective randomized control trials will be discussed as well as the timeline and recent completion of the multi country European deep diabetic foot wound trial.
Learning Objectives:
- Understand the unique properties of intact fish skin graft which make it clinically applicable to diabetic foot ulcer.
- Understand the level 1 data supporting its use in Wagner 1 and Wagner 2 diabetic foot ulcers.
- Understand the level 1 data supporting its use in University of Texas 2 and University of Texas 3 diabetic foot ulcers.
