Podiatry, Prejudice & Possible Solutions

Amol Saxena, DPM

Podiatry, prejudice & possible solutions: this lecture displays how prejudice affects our profession. It shows how this parallels experiences of those of color in the US, and their dealings with bias, both implicit and explicit. It also reveals how micro-aggressions and sham peer review can do damage to one’s health. Proposed solutions for improvement of the podiatry profession are discussed.
